The World
The LOTUS flower, which is known as LOTUS in almost every language,
is the undisputed symbol of transition from darkness into light,
stagnation into dynamism.
Throughout history, it has been perceived as the symbol of abundance,
passion and rebirth. One of the oldest Buddhist texts stated that the
dew drops on lotus leaves and lotus seeds symbolized uncontaminated
life. The small lotus calyx and seeds were described as wide and
unlimited, like a person's inner world; and the calyx cradling the seeds
as "the gateway to the human spirit".
The LOTUS, which is regarded as ‘embodying all forces, voices, and
numbers of the universe'; the eternal light; and represents absolute
cleanliness, is the first blooming flower in the history of the Earth.
The lotus flower, the roots of which symbolize "immortality" and the
stem of which symbolizes "life", is a symbol of the past, present, and
future in Anatolian motifs.
